Ali Limb completed a BA in G&S at RMIT in the early 1990’s.
In 1998 she established e.g.etal a contemporary jewellery gallery in Melbourne’s CBD with Emma Goodsir. In 2009 Ali sold her share of the business and has returned to making jewellery and studying Shiatsu and further business skills. Ali has served on the board of Craft Victoria and played an active role in Melbourne’s contemporary jewellery scene over the past 2 decades.

Ali finds beauty in the minor details in every day life - everything from a small weed peeking through a crack in the pavement to man made industrial fittings. She enjoys the ceremonial aspect of jewellery and how these traditions can be interpreted into contemporary life. Ali has recently travelled extensively in Japan and was enchanted and inspired by the ceremony and attention given to everyday rituals.
